Is there a way I can view the forms that residency applicants fill out? I think it might be a useful way to get an idea what specifically the Army looks at in its selection process.

Also, and more importantly, are externships out of the question if you cannot complete OBLC prior to graduation due to limited summer vacation time? I feel getting to see the programs prior to application would be very useful in deciding if an Army residency is a good fit.

Thank you in advance.

Go to MODS. It has the contact info for the adv training. Ask for the application.

You can do ADT externships without OBLC, but the externships must be 21 days or longer. Now OBLC is only 21 days long, however. You can always contact the individual clinic and visit them at your own expense, but if you want the Army to pay for it, you'd need to be there for 21 days. You actually cannot do any work during the externship however. It is almost 100% observation.

Everything is in the manual.

Very informative.Thank you.

I do not believe I will get 21 days in a row away from school, but I'll figure something out.

Couldn't respond to the message, but to the guy who pm'd me, thanks.
