hello everyone,
i'm a med graduate from nepal and i am currently thinking about doing my residency program in philippines. i just wanted to know how good the programs are. my choices are either east avenue medical center or jose r reyes memorial hospital. are they good hospitals? i'm interested in internal medicine and one of my friend wants to do residency in anesthesiology. i would also like to know that as a foreigner can i apply to fellowship programs afterwards? if yes is it tough or expensive???
in my country we do not have enough residency programs and competition is really tough...just 2-3 good hospitals and about 900 -1000 graduates fight for 35 spots in 1 hospital... if u have to pay to get a spot at private hospitals... it costs us more than what we can get at philippines.
please help me....i'd be really grateful... thanks
