i want to apply to residency eventually, but most of the faculty at my school isnt doing research anymore until the covid situation is handled.
i was wondering if i could do research with a faculty from a different company/school/or faculty from maybe the medical school of my school?
if i do research that isnt dental related, can i potentially have that faculty write me a letter of rec when applying to residency even if they are not associated with my dental program or school? or is that frowned upon?
