if your an img, passed your usmle's [step 1,2,csa] ecfmg certified..a u.s citizen....what is the process of getting into a canadian residency?..is it really difficult as people say it is?...

To get into a residency, you will at least need to write the Canadian exams. At least MCCEE and MCCQE1. Only Ontario will accept usmle as equivalent for you to go through their IMG process. Is it difficult, check the statistics at www.carms.ca and that will give you an idea about how hard it is. If you have passed your usmle's, the US will be the way to go.
