Residency / Relocation Loan

Any thoughts or experience with the Residency & Relocation Loan that's available for fourth year med students?

It gives up to $4k in the fall and another $6k in April.
Interest is based off of prime, but I don't know the details.

I'm specifically interested in this loan vs. Grad Plus to cover my costs from interview season.

Grad plus is the way to go if you can get it. Its fixed compared to variable of a private loan. Although most need the residency/relocation because its above and beyond the financial aid available to students. If you need to get a private loan, make sure you go grad plus first.
