Hello all-
I did a deferred residency in the civilian world. Now on active duty and am separating. I have done 4 years IRR during residency and 4 years of active time for a total of 8 years with a commission. I understand their is a difference in resignation from active duty versus resigning your commission.
My separation orders contain the following line: "by direction of the president, the secretary of the navy has accepted your resignation of your present commission in the US Naval service"
Does that mean I am done with my commission or is there still another form to fill out to finish it off? Thanks
