anyone have ideas for studying respiratory phys? my whole group is kinda confused!! we've read guyton, BRS, and west's essentials, but still can't completely figure out the vignettes on our tests. we're PBLM, but have "resourse sessions" (really lectures) with profs. any other books or websites you suggest checking out?

resp sucks. i've had difficiulty with it too, but you might want to try Rhoades and Tanner. I've heard that's amazing. BRS is the Bible as well.

There's a small ~130pg red book by a physician named West which is supposed to be very concise and easy to understand for respiratory physiology.

everyone raves about west but i personally thought it was awful and the cure for insomnia.

Or try Grippi's Pulmonary Pathophysiology in Lippincott's Pathophysiology Series. It explains things better than West and uses some of his diagrams.
