I read on another website that some pharmacies are keeping this behind the counter, and self-restricting its sale, because it makes heroin more soluble in water and some addicts are using it for this purpose. It was actually on a crafting website; some people use this while dyeing textiles, or in canning fruits and vegetables.

Has anyone else seen this?

I buy mine at the big liquor stores in the homebrew section. Use it for descaling the espresso machine.

Hahahaha!!!

It doesn't eat through the reservoir? I tried vinegar/water and it caused a leak so they sent me a new machine. It's not a cheap machine either but I guess the acidity was too much!
