So I really want to get on top of getting an interview and getting hired by a retail company. right now I work for Walmart and would like to continue working for them post graduation. I graduate in May 2014 and just started my 3rd APPE rotation (of 6). I keep seeing my classmates say they have set up interviews already with CVS. I'd love to be able to get an interview with Walmart, the problem is, I don't really know what area I want to stay in. I could really move anywhere. Would I have to pick a spot and contact the district manager of that area? I noticed online job postings on the walmart website that have listings. would it be better to scan through them or not, since those job postings are probably looking for a pharmacist who is ready to work right now.
just not sure how the process works with chains such as walmart or target (another chain i'm looking at). my school has a career/interview day in november where I believe they will do interviews. I'd like to get a jump on things though if possible because I know a lot of students will be going there and I'd like to stand out from the crowd.
