I got a C- in Gen Chem II six years ago. A member of a school's admissions team has graciously given me permission to satisfy their requirements by guaranteeing in writing that I will retake the equivalent of this course, regardless of whether I receive an offer from the school.
I am strongly interested in attending this school. Just so I get a clearer idea of the cost/benefit ratio of this decision though, do you think that retaking a prereq that I got a C- in back in the day might be looked upon somewhat favorably by other schools, or not really?
