511 is a great score. Statistically speaking you probably won’t do much better than that if you retake.

If your heart is set on Harvard, maybe. But I personally don’t think it’s worth the risk assuming the rest of your app is good.

I have decent ECs but am ORM with no research experience and live in a state without a medical school or connection to one. Do you think this score is still viable for MDs considering that?

Edit: also my cgpa and sgpa are both 3.85

Hmm. That’s tough bro.

Post a “What are my chances?” Thread and people will have a better idea of how to advise you. It’s tough without a complete picture.
 
@Carbonsword5 It looks like you have already applied to some schools and actually the last MCAT test date for 2024 was earlier in September.
I hope you have some success with interviews this cycle and don't need to think about retaking the MCAT.
If it doesn't result in some interviews or acceptances for you, you can gear up for a retake in 2025.
 
Alright thank you both for the advice, I think I will wait to decide depending on the results of this cycle
