Retake DAT?

Hey, so I just took the DAT yesterday and here are my scores:

PAT: 22
QR: 18
RC:26
Bio: 18
GChem: 16 🙁
OChem: 19
TS: 18
AA: 19

My scores seem kind of all over the place. I know my gen chem score is really low.. thoughts?

Hey, You may have to retake it..That 16 in Gchem may be lower than most school's cut-off. Sorry to break it to you. Else, call up schools that you want to apply to and get their opinion on your G-chem score.

Great RC, but everything else is average. In addition, the 16 will most likely kill most of your chances anywhere. On the bright side, you can retake in 3 months and absolutely kill the DAT AND still be early for application season.

I would definitely retake.

I totally agree, don't let this stress you out, and don't let it be that weak spot when you apply. Just take a short break, re-schedule, then hit those weak spots (by all means continue reviewing everything, esp. what you found difficult on the actual DAT), you'll kick ass next time!

Thank you all for your input. I am going to focus much harder on the gchem this time and hopefully I can bring everything up.
