do i have any chance for USC (dream school)?
or any other schools in California like Pacific? Western?

thanks for any opinions and help

I think you will be able to get in with your wonderful GPA and DAT scores provided that you have good amt of LOR and ECA. If you feel your science can hurt you, you can retake it. But I think only your O.Chem score is low..so u still hav a chance 🙂 gud luck !

I really do think you have a shot...I got accepted to four schools with a DAT of 18 AA, 17 TS, 20 PAT...and that included an 18 OChem, 16GChem, and 18 Bio...scores, I think, look worse than yours. Also my cGPA was 3.62, sGPA 3.5, which was also lower than yours. I am not sure about the schools you mentioned, they may be more competitive, but call them up and see if you got a shot. I also had 3 years of research with a really good publication when I applied, so that may have helped quite a bit.

Good luck!

I got accepted to schools with a 17 in Bio although my TS was an 18. Its a tough call but with your GPA and AA you might be okay. I don't know much about Cali schools though. The only thing I'd be concerned about is that schools will just put your application in the "no" pile right off the bat if you have a bad GPA or DAT score and I'm not sure how a TS of 17 will fair in that case (some schools have minimum requirements). If you have strong extracurriculars and a good personal statement then you should be fine.

I think you will get an interview at USC. My stats were similar to yours (very, very similar), and I interviewed there.

What DAT scores have a chance without being thrown out immediately? What about 19AA, 19TS (20BIO, 19GC, 18OC), 21PAT?
