Sophomore year I did pretty bad in first quarter biology, getting a 2.5. Not to play the blame game, but I did overload myselft, taking way too many credits of courses that quarter. However, I did pretty good in the other two quarters of intro biology. I'm going to be taking biochemistry next year, but I was wondering what you guys think on retaking intro biol to try to get a 4.0, knowing the two grades will be averaged. Is this worth it? Or should I just focus my energy on biochem instead.

If you were playing the blame game, are you blaming yourself? hehe. Anways, I would suggest biochemistry, because I think it'll help you more in the future. If you haven't taken the MCAT, it'll expand your knowledge base. Secondly, it'll help you in future biochem courses in med school.

Lol, I just re-read that, I guess I do blame myself haha.

I am going to take biochem since it's my major. I guess my main question was whether or not to retake that first quarter intro class. I normally wouldn't even consider the retake since the policy is no retake above a 1.7, but recently my school is allowing retake for any grade.
