Schools really only give you scholarships to convince you to go to their school. If you've already signed on the dotted line and deposited, there's no incentive for them to throw more money at you. They've already got what they wanted.
I have never heard of this. I would contact the admissions office at the schools to see if they would consider changing a scholarship offer before doing this.
This sounds miserable. But I commend you for considering this. Scholarships can be earned if you just do well your first year as well. Also, they can be lost if you fail to maintain a 3.0 or 3.2 in the case of NYCPM. Good Luck!
