I have a 27 MCAT, and I just applied MD this cycle.
I wonder if anyone has retaken the MCAT after applying (in December or January), in case of any wait lists or late interviews.
Do you recommend that I do so?

Not for MDs but I know someone who retook the MCAT in October for DO and got a 29. It helped him get an interview sometime in December and an eventual acceptance.

I do know a person who did take the MCAT in September last year while applying MD. Although he had stellar stats/ECs and I believe a 90%+ percentile score.

Did this person eventually get accepted? If so, do you know to how many schools?

The latest MCAT that most MD schools (if not all) accept is in September.
