retake the gre

I know there are many threads about the GRE but i want to make a new one because we're all in different situation and i am desperate for advice.

i took the GRE in may and I got 152 on the math, 148 english and 3 on analytical. so my scores are really bad and i want to retake the GRE in end august so i have a month to study after summer school. but I'm planning to apply this early september and i'm not sure how sending the GRE scores works since the results won't be officially released after a couple of weeks.
Should I send my GRE scores before getting the results from the retake then send them again or should I wait for it or should I just not retake it?

I'd retake it! All you have to do on your application is say that you're taking it again and give the date. The schools will definitely want to see the scores from both tests. Good Luck. I'm retaking it on Friday.

where can i put that i will retake it again?

It should be under the tests section. Add a new entry and state that it is planned versus taken. then enter the info.

so, should i just wait for my new results then send my scores? or just send the previous ones?
im just afraid it would take awhile and may not be received by the schools before the deadline. i think the earliest deadline for the schools that im applying to is in october and im planning to retake it in end of august.

After you take the test it takes about 12-15 days for the scores to be official and posted on the website/sent to your house. This will effect what you list on the PTCAS test section because you will have to wait to fill everything in but you can update it still after you e-submit. Also, once you are done the test it gives you option to send scores out that day so do that. So you could e-submit, send the scores right after the test from computer, and then update as soon as you get the official scores sent to you bc the schools will prob. have them by that time anyway.
