Retake Vital Signs on PE/CS

Hey guys! I'm just reading the review book on COMLEX 2 PE and it says that we should retake abnormal vitals such as high BP while with the patient. Do we actually do that? Cause I've never done that in the OSCEs and that has never been a problem.

I retook it if it was high (like 180s) and related to chief complaint. 140-150? meh. Noted in chart to recheck at next visit.
