I would like to retake a few prereq class to improve my BCP gpa. I am debating taking them at Southern California Unviersity of Health Sciences (SCU). They give the option to take them quickly over the weekends. My other option is to retake them at a 4-year college. This would be a tougher option.

Will taking the classes at SCU look bad on my application in comparison to taking them at a 4-year university?

If you already received a C or above in the prereq courses you are considering retaking, just move on (i.e., don't bother retaking at all). You should only be retaking courses which you received a C- or below. To improve your BCP GPA, you should be taking upper level courses.

I got a C in one semester of Chem and C in one semester of Bio. I have a decent overall and science GPA, but BCP is low and Bio and Chem are under 3.0 because of my grades in Bio 1/Bio 2 and Chem 1/Chem 2. SCU only offers your typical pre reqs so I'd have to retake and would plan on retaking the ones I got C's in. I would love to take higher level classes, but then I would have to go to a 4-year university (I'm already graduated) which is significantly more expensive and I'd have to quit my job (SCU classes are on the weekends so I could keep my job if I went there).
