How do pharmacy schools look at retakes of university courses at a CC? I got a few Fs a few years ago at the university I'm currently attending, when I was still having a hard time adjusting to living on my own. I ended up going back home and retaking two of the three failed courses over at the local CC and before coming back.

Unfortunately, these retakes don't factor into my university GPA because the classes were not taken there. Is it a good idea to retake those classes again at the university level then, perhaps? If not, then is it recommended that I retake the third class that I did not retake yet?

Sounds like the only thing I would get out of retaking those classes again at the university is a latin honor upon graduation. But I imagine pharmacy schools don't really look at that.

You don't need to retake those classes at the university level.

When you apply to schools, you use Pharmcas and enter ALL your coursework into the system from every college or university you have attended, regardless of whether it is from a university or CC.

Then your cumulative GPA is calculated nased on all the classes you have entered. So it would be pointless to try to raise your "university GPA", when pharmcas will already factor your CC classes into your GPA.

Do you need the third retake? If it is a pre-req, you will but if it is another course that has nothing to do with pharmacy then you really don't have to. PharmCAS averages all grades so the only reason to retake it if you don't need it, is to raise your GPA. Any additional classes will do that. Now there are some pharm schools which will take your higher grade in a retake. You should contact the schools and find out their retake policy. If they will replace the grade when calculating your GPA then it might be worth it to do so.
