Hello guys,
I have this one question that been bothering me for a while. So, I took my DAT late last year and did not score well (TS19, AA18), and planning to retake it at the end of July. Do schools still send out interview invitations even if my new DAT is not updated?
Thanks,

If you mention the retake date on your application, most schools (UCSF exception) will put your application on hold (no decision) until they receive the new score. So no interview until the new DAT is mailed to schools. UCSF might make the decision. So if you intend to apply to UCSF, you can add this school to your list after the new DAT score is uploaded to AADSAS. Check every schools policy on this subject though, yourself.

........not to mention that pre-August interviews, while not completely unheard of, are rare creatures indeed. If your retake is late July, your AADSAS should be updated in time for the meat of the interview schedule, Sept-Nov. Best of luck.
