hey guys i was jus wondering if i should retake my mcats. here are my stats:

MCAT:24 (v-6, p-9, b-9, ws-0)
Major Kinesiology
Overall GPA - 3.5
Overall SGPA - 3.65; includes all the pre-reqs plus biochemistry, immunology, human genetics, molecular cell biology, microbiology

all opinions are welcomed, thanks

I would.. I think your gpa is decent. If you can get your mcat up to 28 you'll be good for the big DO schools and low tier MD.

You have a good GPA and sGPA (by DO or MD application standards). I think you have a prettty good chance at a DO acceptance with your current MCAT score, even with the VS of 6. If you aspire to the more selective DO schools, you should consider retaking. What schools would you most prefer to attend?

OP - you aren't canadian are you? cos then its diff (nothing against canadians but it seems like a lot have a hard time on the V section).

As already mentioned, an improved MCAT might give you a shot at MD too.
