Retention Physicals

Question for those with experience. I'm Army HPSP w/ no prior service.

I've got to report to my AD site in mid-June, where I'm due for my retention physical. I haven't had one in 5 years, since MEPS actually.

What are these physicals like? Please tell me they are not like the ones we got at MEPS.

Additionally, is any attempt made to correlate your previous MEPS physical with your retention physical, or are you essentially starting from a "clean slate?"

I don't have any health records from the Army besides dental checks done at OBC.

Appreciate any info.

Nothing like MEPS. you will see a military provider and fill out the same forms, but not like the cattle call MEPS was.
