Having heard stories passed down from a recent fellow at cornell, I would avoid the fellowship there.
The Columbia fellowship is ok, in that you work with Stanley Chang (his preference is to do lot of combined vit/encircling bands from what I hear), but I heard operating experience in terms doing a lot of cases as primary surgeon is on the low side.
NYEEI supposedly has the highest volume of the NY fellowships. Attendings are less notable and malignant at times, but would be my #1 choice in NYC.
