Hi all,

Are there anyone from cali who is currently about to graduate from a out-of-state dental school and wishes to return to cali to practice? I've heard about the subtle differences in the cali board exam as compared to that of the NERB, does anyone know of the details?

I'm from cali and have been trying to figure out btw going to usc and columbia. I never thought this dilemma would be this tough, i mean, i thought i have my decision made up, but the more i think about it, the more second thoughts i have.

For those of you who are from cali and is now in an out-of-state dental school (especially those of you who are about to take the board exam or have so already), what would you recommend? (I'd love to stay in cali, but hate usc's pbl program, just don't feel secure involving myself in it, it's too unfocused). Also, for those of you who have taken the cali board exam who are from out of state, did you feel prepared for it?

I am not sure what to think at this moment, I'd love to stay in cali, but don't see myself in the pbl program. I'd also love to go to columbia, but am a little hesistant upon thinking about taking cali board exam and starting from scratch after graduation.

Any intake/suggestions on this matter would be greatly appreciated!
thanks!
