Reusing my old PS for Secondaries?

I am a reapplicant and one of the secondary prompts asked a question that I addressed in my PS during the last time I applied (in 2013). I was wondering if it would be OK to take an excerpt out of that old PS for this secondary.

the content can be similar, but cutting and pasting a majority of it could be noticed. I would suggest some refresh of it

Another question, would schools know if I reused secondaries? I wanted to reuse my secondary for School A the last time I applied for School B this year. Would schools know that I reused it?

Curious about this as well. Only using a sentence from my old PS tho (cuz it was baller)

School A wont know what you wrote for School B on a secondary

Thank God because there is a lot of "overlap" on my secondaries 😉
