Hello members,
PGY2 here looking for a review book for pathology. These are the options I currently have.

1. Differential Diagnosis in Surgical Pathology 3rd Edition
by Vijaya B. Reddy MD MBA (Author), Paolo Gattuso MD (Author), Odile David MD MPH (Author), Daniel J. Spitz MD (Author), Meryl H. Haber MD (Author)

2. Essentials of Anatomic Pathology 4th ed. 2016 Edition
by Liang Cheng (Editor), David G. Bostwick (Editor)

3. The Washington Manual of Surgical Pathology Second Edition
by Peter A. Humphrey MD PhD (Author), Louis P. Dehner MD (Author), John D. Pfeifer MD PhD (Author)

As you can see, I am looking for a book similar to First Aid for USMLE step 1. i.e. need not be near-complete like some big books like Rosai or Sternberg but should hit most major points. I am not so excited about Washington manual as there are no pictures in the book.

Any input is welcome! Thank you!

Number 1. I used that book while previewing throughout residency. However, if I was in training now, I would get a trainee subscription to ExpertPath, get a tablet, and use that during my previewing/learning.
