I recently changed my method of studying. This was a multiple attempt at Step2ck. I had taken Pass Program for Step1 (and thought it was sufficient for Step2ck); I had taken Kaplan live review in the past. But I decided to study by audio podcast (mcmumbi reading crush, studywithsubstancep.com,medpod101.com, and apollo audiobooks) this time around.

People seem to love these 'crash courses' but I had run out of student loan money and did not have enough money to go to a crash review course. Considering it was the last chance I was given to pass Step2, I probably should have done a review course. But I didn't.

If in fact I pass Step2ck, I would like to ponder my strategy for Step3. Review course vs my present method of audiolearning?

anybody else bouncing back and forth between all these methods of studying?

The usmlealgorithms dude floating around on youtube really helped me out in the management portions of my Step 2 CK especially in OBGYN. Substance P is cool too. No experience with any of the others, but I also process audio much better than I do video and I especially like pausing when a question is posed so I can try and answer it myself, and then play it. Also, it can be done with little minimal effort whether on breaks when doing questions, in the car etc. I tried it in the gym, and not a good idea especially when you are trying to to focus on repetitions..lol
