Reviewed BUT haven't decided on app..?

Have any of you guys called schools that you have not heard from and had them tell you that they have reviewed your file but NOT made a decision? I have this issue at Drexel, Temple and SLU. Is this better than rejection or basically the same? I think that I may be hanging on by a thread, but I don't know.

I'm on hold post interview at Univ of IL. I think it's better than a rejection.

I know people that have applied to Baylor and have been reviewed for two months, but no decision having been made.... Who knows.

I was told by the lady in the temple admissions office that they send out interview invites until april.

I interviewed at hahnemann last week - they are filled until april, HOWEVER, many people will ultimately decline these. I know this school interviews a lot of people - so definitely stay on top of them because they get so many applications.
