Reviewing Board Style Questions

How do you guys review practice questions? I started the Anking deck around 5-6 months ago and have kept up with reviews, but I’m a little late to the party on practice questions. I’m starting USMLE-Rx to make sure I understand First Aid before moving on to Amboss/UWorld. This block I want to finish all associated practice questions (GI/Renal) before I begin my next block.


I attempted to do practice questions for Cardio/Pulm, but I kept adding more cards and it was info that was already in Anking. Do you guys add cards on “critical thinking” or how everything fits together? Practice questions have always been my down fall and I am trying to avoid excess anki cards. Any help would be appreciated.

Find as many question banks as possible, especially those that explain why the wrong answers are wrong. Many people love Anki, but I wonder if it's really helpful for 2nd and 3rd order thinking.
