I just started MS2 in August and have been focusing mostly on MS2 class-related stuff. However, I have been spending about a hour roughly everyday using Anki to review the two sections in First Aid. I am still on microbio but plan to get to biochem down the road. I also plan to make notes for the pharm stuff.
I am just using Anki to hammer down the stuff as it is just dense and then plan to during the year to review CMMRS and, as needed, a biochem review book for the big picture and integration. I might try reviewing some other sections but, honestly, I don't want to burn out and want to just focus mostly on MS2 stuff.
As to Qbanks, I am saving UWorld for the dedicated period, but I plan to buy Rx to use with classes during the year and also to review some MS1 stuff like microbio and biochem.
Just curious as to whether you guys have tried similar plans and whether you think it is a good one. I don't want to go overboard with this as I do think the dedicated time we get (about 6 weeks) is plenty enough but this is just a nice way for me to review some stuff without pressure.
Note that I take Step 1 in the winter, not the summer.
