Quick question,

I'm trying to fine-tune my studies and was wondering how long you should take to review the practice exams? I go through each passage and each question and make notes on why I got it wrong and I studies topics as I go through my exam and realize that I don't know them.

It all depends on the topic for me. I spend about twice as long going over questions as I spend actually doing them the first time.

If I get a question right, then I read their explanation to see if they have a better strategy for getting that question right. If I get a question wrong, then I try it again, taking notes on each answer choice. Then I compare it to their answer explanation and catch where I went wrong. This of course only works if you have detailed answer explanations which focus on step by step analysis of the question. So far, out of all of the materials I have seen, only one does that. Once I run out of their passages, I'll switch to AAMC and probably spend less time reviewing.
