I was wondering how do you guys make the best out of your practice tests...

Do you review all your answers and take notes on what you got wrong? Do you review the entire topic related to questions you got wrong? Do you take the test just to develop the stamina and don't bother reviewing your answers?

Thanks for input 🙂

wow... everyone takes practice tests yet no one has to share any techniques with regards to reviewing these tests?

I re read every question. I go over what I got wrong first. Take notes on it, read up on it. And I also go over what I got right, and make sure it wasnt just a lucky guess.

I re do the practice exams a few weeks later after I have forgotten most of the stuff. I dont know how others use them though.

hmm... I didn't think of taking them more than once, but it isn't probably a bad idea to see if in fact you have a better understanding.. esp. in subjects like chem and math.

thanks 🙂

i started taking full-length practice exams 2 weeks before my actual test date and took one test every other day. the days i wasn't taking a test, i went over the one i took the day before. i reviewed the entire thing and read the explanation for every single answer. i took notes on stuff i got wrong and tried to go over them as often as i could.

if you have kaplan materials, like subject tests, those are good to take more than once because they're not very time consuming.
