Revisit Weekend Conflicts

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I had a similar situation that worked out well.

The two schools I am most interested in (Alabama and Colorado) have revisits scheduled for the same time. I already had a ticket to visit Colorado before UAB made any decisions. I let UAB know that a revisit would really help me make the best decision. It was really late notice to tell them, but within about 12 hours they had a flight booked for me and made arrangements for a special visit a few days before the official revisit.

Perhaps you could explain the situation to whichever school notified you of the revisit last and maybe it will work out as it has with UAB.

Thanks. WashU seems prepared for situations like this because they have 2 second visit weekends for MSTP, but one of them is with the MD crowd too so it seems like more people would lead to more festivities. Shame I will get to miss out.

UCSF and Dartmouth seem to have the same revisit weekend May 2-3. I'm not entirely sure though, since UCSF could have a separate MSTP-only revisit.

I don't like late revisits, by that time most schools are already pressuring you to make up your mind, and schools generally hate late withdrawals, so I have no idea why they would still procrastinate in admission, arrange last minute revisits, and cause mutual hatred...
