O.K. so this is some basic stuff but keep getting confused with feralis and Romano in destroyer.

In feralis and google, ribosome subunits are made and transported out to cytosol to assemble into ribosomes.
In destroyers, Romano said that ribosomes are assembled by the nucleolus.

Input guys?

Here is what is says on Page 111 of Cliff's:
The nucleolus is an assemblage of DNA actively being transcribed into rRNA. Within the nucleolus, various proteins imported from the cytoplasm are assembled with rRNA to from large and small ribosome subunits.

But once assembled, they will leave and enter the cytoplasm where they can participate in protein synthesis.

So it sounds like they are assembled in the nucleolus, with imported proteins from the cytoplasm, and then leave the nucleolus to enter the cytoplasm.

Spot on. This is how I recollect it.
