A somewhat obnoxious request, but is anyone driving down on the 7th? I'll get the gas. I just got an email that the SUNY dinner will include a lecture and will start at 6, which looks to be before Amtrak can get me to Penn Station.

I had the downstate interview a couple of months ago and there was no lecture during the dinner. The program director was there for 10 minutes, introduced himself to everybody, and left. We spent the entire night just hanging out with the residents.

Unless you are interested in doing trauma, Downstate wasn't too impressive, so might not be worth the hassle.

you are correct, so I must rephrase my quote, in that if you aren't interested in Trauma or Peds... just an opinion, I will still be ranking the place, but near the bottom of my list
