RISE scores and fellowship applications

Do programs consider your scores on the RISE exam when applying for fellowships? If so, does anyone know what score/percentile would be competitive for a top notch school's surgpath or GI fellowship?

I've never heard of any fellowship looking at RISE scores. The only person who even sees those scores (besides you) is your program director.

I was on the GI Path Interview Trail this year. I applied to every single program (about 20) and went on 8 interviews. Never once was I asked on an application or in an interview about my RISE scores. The applications do ask for your USMLE scores (yes, all 3)....but it was only to check that you passed so you'd be eligible for licensure.

I applied to 20 or so dermpath programs last year. I had the same experience as Dawn1980: no program asked for RISE, but most asked for all 3 USMLE (either pass/fail or some asked for the exact scores). Have never heard of any program that asked for RISE scores.

Thanks guys. I'm in Canadian but considering U.S. fellowships. We take the RISE but never actually do anything with it.
