Or you could check with just about every major University in the United States.

And most of the community colleges.

BSN....That is definitely a good route...especially with nurse leaders having good news like this for the nursing profession.

"The notion that any doctor should make more than any nurse is out of date, according to Mary Mundinger, Ph.D., RN, dean of the Columbia University School of Nursing. "

I believe Mundinger is one of the cutting edge spokesman representing nurses... good news eh?!:hardy:

dfk, please come off it.
I'm a big fan of RN, NP and PAs. Previous post is a subtle joke..... perhaps to subtle for some...
You are uber sensitive - that can be a weak trait......
Oh yeah. I'm not a huge mundinger fan.

Regarding Mundinger, I can't decide if she is:
a) Nuts
b) An egomaniacal power-grabber
c) Sticking it to the man (revenge for being disrespected by MDs throughout her nursing career)
d) Crazy like a fox-- By making controversial statements about the equivalence of DNPs and MDs, she got A LOT of publicity regarding graduate level nurses. Probably raised the awareness of NPs to some of the general public. Also, by raising the bar so high, it will get beaten down, but maybe not so low as it was before. Does that make sense?

(an RN going to NP school, no, Taurus, not an online DNP program).
