I wanna become an RN, I have a strong medical background since I attended medical school overseas for a while, then I decided to become a nurse in the states. however, I can't attend a nursing school. I heared that I can take the tests & the TOEFL & verify my credentials (in my case the medical school courses) then get the degree & become an RN without having to attend a nursing school.
does anybody know the accurate details of that path? also what about the job market nowadays?
I really need your input guys.
Thanks in advance for the assistance.

No, you cannot.

You must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program to sit for NCLEX-RN. No ifs, ands, or buts.

This is going to sound harsh, but I am going to say it anyway: We do not need people trying to get into nursing the way you describe. It is hard, demanding work, often unappreciated. You have to know know your job inside and out, as well as be able to spot when a doc orders something inappropriate (or worse). It is not just "following doctors' orders."

"Some" medical school will in no way have prepared you for being a nurse. Frankly, if you really want to be a nurse, I suggest you do some research on what nursing really entails these days. I don't think you have much of an understanding, or appreciation for the profession.

If you really want to be a nurse, (and I have my doubts) you can check out some of these sites:
