rochester post-interview

ok, so i had an interview at rochester today....the dean of admissions, pat samuelson, said that after the adcom meets to talk about us, we'd be either waitlisted or accepted. she didn't mention that we'd get rejected.

i don't know whether she failed to mention it or she purposely didn't....we were a little confused...is it true that rochester interviewees don't get outright rejected?
