It took them 2 months post-secondary and 1 month post-interview to get back to me.

They took a little over a month, post-interview, if I recall correctly. Try a thread search, I think there are several threads floating around out there about Rochester notifications. Good luck!

I'm unsure if to cancel my interview there next week. I have an acceptance that is a top choice of mine. Does anyone think my interview could sway me? I don't really wanna live in Rochester....

They were pretty quick. I think only about three weeks post-interview. I did interview early there (during their first round- I think each round is a month long), so that pay have helped.

I liked Rochester the school, but I also found it hard to imagine living in Rochester, as I was born and raised in a big city. Read up about the MD program in their web site and viewbook. I found those sources to be pretty accurate of what the school is really like.

I got my post-interview response a month later. For sunny, west-coast residents .... unless you have a DAMN GOOD REASON for wanting to live in Rochester, don't even bother holding your breath. I grew up and did my ungrad in L.A. and my interviewer pretty much told me straight up that my west-coast upbringing would hold me back from the acceptance pile. I gave an enthusiastic and sincere response about personal development and wanting to move to the east coast, but sure enough ... waitlist letter was waiting for me a month later. *Sigh* ... rochester was such an awesome school! I'll keep on bugging them.

everything with them is snailmail
