For post II additional essay questions, does anyone know if that will be reviewed by the admissions team as well or if that is mostly for the interviewer because of "blind" interview? I'm trying to decide how much of the materials I can reuse from my primary and secondary

from my understanding, this is just for the interviewer, and it is all they know about you (extracurriculars-wise) because the interview is blind. it also seems like you can re-use essay material, but since rochester doesn't have many secondary questions, i'm sure there won't be a ton of overlap between what you already have written for other schools and what you already submitted to rochester.

MD applicants - how soon must the "activities" section be turned in before the interview date? I am a MSTP applicant and I got a confusingly worded email saying that they must be submitted 10 business days prior, whereas the portal says 5.

I think it is 5 for both (for the "activities" section).

However, for MSTP applicants, you have to submit the ten (10) requested faculty members 10 days prior.

IS - Interviewed here. Overall extremely positive experience. Very laid back and conversational. Group ethics debate was great and extremely interesting. No prep needed - just to see how you work in a group environment. Good luck to everyone else interviewing!

Hey, congrats on your interview! Just got an II today - wondering how the group ethics convo was (logistics-wise)? Was it easy to jump in/contribute over Zoom without interrupting/talking over someone?

It was easy to contribute! We used the hand raise feature on zoom and with the moderator everyone was very focused on being respectful. Good Luck!!

Has anyone who interviewed already gotten a decision? I know they can’t accept until Oct 15th but they can reject before. I’m stressing and wondering if no news yet is a good sign 😅

i havent heard anything but i interviewed 10/1 and asked about turnaround time for decisions. they told me 4-6 weeks from my interview date and that they are not expecting any delays in decisions
