ROL question

Why would you??? I must be missing something because I've seen someone else ask this strange question... sure, go ahead and rank any program you want. But since it's "MATCH" don't be surprised when you WON'T match with those programs... cuz I guarantee... they ain't rankin' you.

The reason this often comes up is for applicants who get no interviews. If you get no interviews and you want to participate in the scramble, you MUST rank something -- only applicants with a certified, non-empty rank list are considered "active" in the scramble.

Otherwise, there is no point to ranking programs where you have not interviewed.

The match has nothing to do and don’t know anything about your interviews or the programs you applied to with ERAS. You can rank any program participating in the match. If a program ranks you highly, for example by mistake, and you ranked him too and you matched there, no one can say we did not interview him.
