I know that some schools do rolling admissions so the earlier you get your stuff in and interview the better. But does rolling admissions come into play when you have a pre-december 1st interview spot? For example... will I have a better shot at getting in if I interview September 3rd as opposed to September 23rd?

I was wondering the same thing and ended up picking one of the earlier dates I was offered... this could potentially yield an early an acceptance

Honestly, I don't think Sept, Oct, or even Nov matters that much for pre-dec interviews. Possibly late Nov, but it's still earlyyy

Rolling admissions don't come until after Dec. 1 🙂 I read somewhere that adcoms meet somewhere late November and go over all interviewed applicants and determine who gets accepted. Sometimes I wonder if it's better to interview early Nov... that way adcoms remember you better

That date is usually just set as a deadline for the first round of acceptances, sometimes decisions are mailed within weeks following an interview...so its not unlikely to see an acceptance in oct or nov if your interview is in sept

Dental school policy is that no one can have an acceptance until Dec. 1st though. So, no one will have an acceptance until Dec. 1 and after. Anyone can get rejected anytime though.

a straight up blatant lie

I think Tunaman is misinformed? But you cannot have an acceptance prior to Dec. 1... so it does NOT technically make a difference if you have an interview in Aug, sept, oct, early nov. I had the option of having an earlier interview, but I chose October since it works best into my schedule.
