Question number 237 in the Destroyer is almost verbatim to the sample test in Kaplan question number 2. In addition, the answer Romano provides is wrong.
Haha, damn you just got ripped apart. You know, that is such BS. First off, you said "almost" verbatim and secondly, when teachers write questions, sometimes they seem similar to other teachers questions as well. Also, didn't some people say on here that some of Dr. Romano's questions show up on the actual dat??? So should he sue the ADA??? No, he shouldn't b/c it is just a coincidence, when writing so many questions its bound to have some of the same questions!!! Maybe you should just study the material for the DAT instead of putting up this thread making it seem as though Dr. Romano somehow had to copy a kaplan question (even though he manage to think of 200 + others on his own for each section)
Oh, and if dentistry doesn't work out for you, please don't go in to law. You obviously don't know it.

There was already a thread done about this problem. Search for the thread titled "MISTAKE IN DESTROYER"
There is no mistake in this problem. However, there are two answers depending on how you look at it. I have cited Voet and Voet Biochemistry in my post to support the Destroyer's solution.
However, the other answer is correct too...you just have to define what you mean by DNA strand.
Second...you have no idea what you're talking about. Either you don't really understand the types of commonly asked questions, or you're just being a jerk. This is a very commonly asked question that just exposes your understanding of the semi-conservative nature of DNA.
Tell you what...If I can find another source with a similar problem...will you consider going after those people as well? How dare they plargarize an ORIGINAL Kaplan problem!!!! Since you're so serious about combating plagarism...it's the RIGHT thing to do!!!
Hey, I also found some very similar normality and dilution problems in my gchem book that were identical to those in Kaplan. I think you should call Kaplan and let them know about that too.
Thank god we have people like you in the fight against plagarism!
What's you goal in making these claims though? Do you have an objective? Or do you just enjoy stirring up debate about things that don't even effect your own life?Look at the questions yourself before trying to bash someone. The two questions are almost identical. Of course it is not exact verbatim but the context and phrasing is too close to say that this question just occurred by chance. In music, do other artists sue another for having the exact same sampling? Of course not because no one is dumb enough to copy something verbatim. Do you know what the definition of plagiarism is? Romano is an organic expert so you think he managed to get his Bio material just off the top of his head? All I said was that he can be sued. Look at the question yourself before claiming what I have to say is BS.

I know exactly which Kaplan problem you're referring to. When I get off work tonight...I will go home and I promise you I will find very very similar questions from other sources.
I will give them to you and you can compare. If you don't call Kaplan first thing tomorrow morning...you will be struck by lightning![]()
