Hi all, I'm not exactly looking for a roommate, but if you are going to be in Kansas City for the summer, I will be looking for a housesitter. Here is what I posted in the housing forum...

If anyone would be interested in housesitting for 4-6 weeks you would be my best friend. I'm moving into my new house right before I come back to CA for a bit. I have asked a friend to do it, but it would be awesome if someone wanted to live there while I'm gone.

The details:

- free internet and phone (except for long distance)
- little or no rent, other than paying of whatever utilities you use while living there.
- mow the lawn (rather large) every week or so to prevent it from becoming a rainforest while I'm gone
- feed and play with my cat
- be willing to vacate when my family and I return (date still unknown probably late june)

I would want an formal rental agreement (just a formality to cover my tail). I wouldn't need much in the way of reference if you are a current UHS student or a new first year.
