I'm taking an EMT-B course at a high school ROP and I was wondering if I'm supposed to submit a transcript when I apply to medical schools. I'm out of college and grad school and this place was the cheapest place I found where I could take the cert class.

Thanks!

Unless it shows up on a college transcript somewhere (transfer the credit to a college or dual enrollment in a college) I wouldn't list the coursework nor would I submit the transcript. Instead, I would list the work I did as an EMT-B as an extra-curricular on my application.

I wasn't sure if I was allowed to do that since I'd heard that high school students could sometimes receive college credit for taking ROP courses. However, I'd definitely much prefer to not have to submit a separate transcript since it would just cost more money and it wouldn't significantly help my application. Thanks!
