DIY or formal post-bacc?

Hi all,
With an undergraduate GPA of 3.526 and an MCAT of 510, would it be better to do a DIY post-bacc to fix the couple of C's I got early in my degree or do a formal program for 51 credit hours? The undergrad GPA has a strong upward trend.

Thanks so much!

Can you get retroactive Ws for those Cs?

You're fine for DO right now.

What are your year by year GPAs?

To answer your question, a DIY postbacc will be fine

Your stats look decent.

What about your ECs/LoRs/shadowing/clinical experience?

You will also need some unique hobbies/interests in order to make yourself stand out. Not that your app is bad in any way--it's just that even the most competitive apps need something unique in order to catch the ADCOMs' attn. Don't get rejected because your app is cookie cutter.

If you are applying early decision, the hook should match/align with the school's mission (and ideally with your values, too).

Good luck with everything and I hope that you get accepted!

I would prefer you fill out a WAMC template. Plus we can't evaluate your academic readiness with just your GPA, though we can presume with a 3.5, your only C's aren't the biggest issue that could doom your application. Remember all grades count; no replacement grading. What courses woud you take with a DIY?
