I have a decision to make. My ultimate goal is to get into allopathic medical school. So which one would you choose and why, rosalind franklin's BMS or midwestern BMS, which is a DO school.

I am actually trying to make a similar decision, hence resurrecting the thread.

I know the difference between DO vs MD, I dont really care which degree I end up getting since I want to do pediatrics and both match well enough. I shadowed both kinds of doctors and found that the degree type doesnt matter, it mostly depends on how awesome the actual doctor is, go figure.

i want to know which bms program Midwestern (az) vs Rosalind Franklin will actually try and help me & support me to get into their medical school vs try and weed me out.

I have visited both schools and both are really strong in my book and I have some other great offers from other schools smp progs:

AT still- so beyond nice & i dont mind being in the boonies of missouri but it is 2yrs and im an older medical school applicant

Pcom- also two years

john hopkins biotech ms (not the bms)- now not gonna lie i love the idea of this school but this program is not made for kids who want to go into medical school its made to earn a biotech masters. I already have a masters (MPH- Loma Linda) & it is partly online & through satellite campuses. I could get this and basically use it to name drop and reapply to medical school or stick to an smp prog where the goal is med school.

i am having a very hard time deciding which program is aimed to help vs get money out of me and any advice would be beyond appreciated.

Thanks Guys!
