Hey everybody,

I am applying to DS this cycle and have had my hopes set on either Midwestern or ASDOH. However, this last week I went to Utah to visit my aunt and decided to check out Roseman. I absolutely loved the school!! I was able to speak with a few dental students there and got an idea for what the school is about and it seemed amazing. I didnt originally apply there because I didnt really know much about the school but I ended up adding it last week after I saw and learned more about the school. Its now moving towards the top of my list for my top choice. Does anyone have any other info about the school that can aid me in my decision?? Thanks so much!

I actually had a question if anyone knows the answer... are dental students also able to concurrently obtain the MBA they offer as well? I have a buddy who is in their PharmD/MBA program. He said the coursework isn't super difficult and adding the MBA is only like an extra 15K (I say only, but when considering 300K it's not that much). According to him, he said the MBA was just recently CHEA accredited.

Is the same program available for DMD students?

i think you can, google the schools n see if they have mba programs with other schools, just not sure how it would help, since MBAs are for corporate jobs. and ive never seen a faculty member of a school with an MBA (have seen a few phds, ms, etc.)

??? Advertising my school?? Bro I go to ASU and am applying to dental school this cycle.. I dont care where you want to go to dental school. Im just trying to figure out some more info on a school so I can make a good decision on where to go if I get accepted. I dont know what you have heard about dental school but Iv heard its pretty tough. I doubt there are many dental students who have the time or desire to go onto a website to advertise their school, so Im confused as to why you would even think that. If anyone has any good info about the school let me know.. It seemed like a great school, but for all I know it could blow! Thats just what im trying to figure out.

Obviously you haven't been on SDN for long enough

I smell someone advertising their school on Student Doc

haha I doubt there's a need to do that, we already have over 1200 applicants.

Regardless, OP, I've posted on other threads about the school. Search "Roseman" in the forum and you should be able to find them.

Clutch, what do your classmates think of the lack of GPA and class rank at Roseman? I share previous poster's concern that it may limit your ability to specialize. I don't really want to specialize now, but my mind might change once in D-school.

Also, could I ask you about my chances at Roseman? 😀

I am attending Roseman right now and I’m sure I speak forclutch as well when I say I love it!

Hold up, am I confusing something? Are both of these quotes from the same person?

Yeah this is pretty confusing.
Is DentalDMD an applicant, or a student at Roseman...

or a worker there? =0

im sure its a great school, but the whole letter of recommendation thing always makes me laugh. im not sure there are many people who get "bad LORs". and, every dean is a dean, so the dean at rosemann isnt going to have any more pull than the dean at some other school. the whole pass fail thing (with boards) is going to be replaced by some other exam to rank applicants.

basically, if you want to specialize you can accomplish that by going to any school, but if you have the choice, pick the school that fits you best and everything else will work itself out.
